March is Women’s History Month and since my practice is all about supporting Women and Work/Life Balance, I want to highlight the importance of having women heroes and women that we can look up to for inspiration.
The NY Times published a great article about 100 Women who Changed History, it’s worth the read.
I recetly asked this question in my Facebook group for business women and here are some of the responses that I received on the post.
Mother Teresa, Maria, Angeles Arrien, Aminah Raheem, Terry, Sheila Schneider, my Mom Adele, Aunt Lillie
So many… Michelle Obama, Eleanor Rosevelt, Betty White, Taylor Swift
Women’s History Month is a powerful reminder of the extraordinary impact women have made across centuries, often in the face of barriers that tried to silence them. From pioneering scientists and fearless activists to groundbreaking artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders, women have reshaped societies, expanded human knowledge, and fought relentlessly for equality and justice. Their achievements—whether celebrated or overlooked—have pushed the world forward in ways both profound and everyday, opening doors for future generations to dream bigger, lead boldly, and live with greater freedom. It’s a month to honor their resilience, brilliance, and the unstoppable momentum they continue to create.
